SLVR | 72 Silversmithing Workshop Policies
We’re so excited to host you for your silversmithing experience! These hands-on workshops involve fire, sharp tools, and heavy equipment — and with that comes a need for clear expectations around safety, preparation, and responsibility. Please review the following policies carefully before your visit:
Age & Participant Requirements
All participants must be 10 years of age or older and mature enough to follow directions for the safety of themselves and others.
Children under 10 are not permitted to participate or be present in the studio during workshops.
Participants must be able to understand and follow verbal safety instructions from our team throughout the entire experience.
Safety Dress Code
Closed-toe shoes and pants are strongly recommended.
Long hair must be tied back securely.
Please avoid loose, flowing clothing or accessories that could create a safety hazard while using equipment.
Arrival Time & Tardiness
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to choose your designs, stones, and get settled.
If your group is 15 minutes late or more, we may need to reschedule your experience, and a no-show fee will be applied.
Cancelation Policy & No-Show Policy
We require at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations, reschedules, or changes in the number of seats.
If your group cancels, reschedules, or adjusts your seat count less than 72 hours prior, a $50 no-show fee per person will be charged.
If you arrive with fewer guests than you booked, you will still be charged for the reserved seats.
If you book a silversmithing experience but decide not to participate in silversmithing, the no-show fee will apply for the seat you took in the workshop.
Group Policy & Gratuity
All guests must have a paid seat in the workshop. Observers are welcome if there is space available.
For groups of four or more, a gratuity will be automatically added to your total at checkout.
If you book for a group and arrive with fewer guests than reserved, you will be charged a no-show fee for each missing participant unless we are notified more than 72 hours in advance.
For Groups of Six or More:
You must book the ‘private studio experience’ in order for us to accommodate larger groups.
To keep the workshop running on time and ensure everyone gets hands-on support, groups of six or more will have a limited design menu.
Each participant may create a single-stone piece with simplified detail options.
These options still allow for creative freedom and beautiful finished pieces — just with more focused guidance and structure to support the larger group experience.
Following Silversmith Instructions
Our silversmiths are here to guide you with professionalism, patience, and care. For your safety and the quality of your piece, it is essential that you listen to and follow all instructions.
We reserve the right to remove any participant who does not follow safety instructions, is disruptive, or compromises the experience — without refund.
Fit, Design & Final Approval
Our team will guide you through shaping, fitting, and designing your piece, and we stand behind their training and recommendations.
You will always approve the fit, design, and look of your piece before anything is soldered or finalized.
Once you give approval, you are responsible for the final outcome of your piece.
If you select a size or design outside of our team’s recommendations, SLVR | 72 is not liable for any discomfort, sizing issues, or dissatisfaction.
Sales, Payments & Refunds
All sales are final.
Payment is due at the time of your workshop.
SLVR | 72 does not offer refunds, replacements, or discounts for jewelry created during your session. Each customer is responsible for the piece they make.
Workshop Duration & Finishing
Workshops typically last 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on your design choices.
Please plan accordingly and do not rush your silversmith if you have time constraints.
If you need to leave early, our silversmith can finish the piece for you, and you can pick it up on another day.
You will not be permitted to return to finish it yourself unless you book a new workshop and pay the base price again.
Pricing Transparency
Our full pricing is available on our website under the Silversmithing Experience tab, so you can review costs before arriving.
In the studio, we present a printed price list before any decisions are made, and all upgrades are explained and confirmed by the customer.
Because we provide pricing both online and in person, SLVR | 72 is not responsible for any price misunderstandings once your experience begins.
If you book a silversmithing seat but decide upon arrival to switch to a different experience, you will be charged a no-show fee for the workshop seat in addition to the cost of the new experience.
Concerns or Discrepancies
If you have any concerns, questions, or issues with your experience or the piece you created, please reach out to us directly at silver72boise@gmail.com.
We work extremely hard to ensure every customer walks away happy, and we appreciate the chance to make things right.
Turning to a public review before contacting us directly can hurt small businesses like ours. If something isn’t right, please give us the opportunity to address it first — your feedback matters, and we genuinely want to help.
These policies help us protect the safety of our guests, the integrity of our experiences, and the time and effort of our team. Thank you for reviewing them — and we can’t wait to create something unforgettable with you!
